Welcome to Ardsley Cub Scouts 2009-1010

We have lots of fun activities planned for the 2009-2010 school year. Unfortunately we are a bit slow on updating our web site from last year. Please be patient and understanding.

Most of last year’s information is useful except for dates and specific activities. We plan to have the calendar and information up-to-date by the September 15 sign-up / information meeting for prospective Cub Scouts and their families.

Cub Scout Pack 3, Ardsley invites all 1st thru 5th grade boys
and their families to a special meeting at the
Concord Road School Cafeteria.

how Cub Scouting is organized, and lots more.

For families returning from last year:

Dens should be getting started for their first Den meetings.
Registration for this year is still $65 for the first Cub Scout and
$40 for each additional Cub in the family.
Medical forms for the current year must be submitted with your
dues. Print the “Class 1 Medical Form” under the “Pack Forms &
Info”  tab. Don’t forget to sign them.
Den leaders should collect the medicals and pack dues and turn
them in at the September 29 pack meeting.
The T-Shirts and sweat shirts are the same ones as last year. If
you want a new one, orders must be in no later than the
September 29 pack meeting in order to get them in time for the
Thunderbird Games. Order BIG. Order form will be updated this
week.

Special parent-only meeting for new families to form dens and select den leaders.
Monday, September 21 
New parents only
at Concord Road School Cafeteria
from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm: 
Quick-start den leader training will be included.

First regular pack meeting of the year.

at Concord Road School Cafeteria
from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm:
All returning Cub Scout families and new Cub Scout families are encouraged to attend. We will be collecting applications, dues, medical forms, Thunderbird fees, and T-shirt orders. Meeting details will follow.

$15.00 Fee (Reimbursed by the pack on completion.)

BALOO Training is for any Cub Scout Leader with a desire to plan and carry out any outdoor experience for the pack. When you complete this training, you will have an increased level of confidence and be able to plan an age-appropriate Pack Overnighter.
